• 1 in 4 Canadians are food insecure

• When food waste ends up in landfills it produces a harmful greenhouse gas, methane, which is 20x stronger than CO2

• Vancouver has the highest Poverty rate among large urban centres in Canada, sitting at 11.2%

The 2025 Impact Report is live!

The year ahead marks an important milestone: ten years of rescuing good food and sharing it with our community. Since 2016, what began as a grassroots response to food waste and hunger has grown into an extensive climate and community movement.
